Thank you very much to all of you who have participated in our study to date. We have really enjoyed hearing about the ways you track yourselves, and we have been able to make some new and useful contributions to discussions around the potential benefits and pitfalls of self-monitoring.
We are now moving into the next phase of our research, in which we will be discussing self-tracking with healthcare professionals in primary care. We would like to talk with health care professionals about their experiences of self-monitoring in their own professional work and the circumstances in which they might encourage or support this. We are interested in their views on the value of self-monitoring data and potential uses of this data in the clinic, and on the implications of self-monitoring for clinical relationships and patient care. We are hoping to begin this next phase within the next two months.
If you are interested to know more about the project, please do get in touch.
